Dr Hoff is currently in a private practice as an Educational Psychologist, where she facilitates the healing, growth and resilience of her clients. She is highly skilled in assessment, psychological counselling and therapy for parents, adolescents and children. She enjoys presenting workshops and trainings to the learners, parents’ school staff and to the fellow colleagues. Her therapeutic approach is holistic and integrative as she believes that the physiological, emotional, cognitive and behavioural systems are influenced by the relationships we find ourselves in and we, in turn, influence our relationships.
Dr Hoff believes that we are all unique individuals with special skills and talents. She chooses the best therapeutic approach best suited to each child, adolescent, individual or family. The aim of therapy is always to facilitate constructive change and to find meaning in everyday life challenges. She believes that all people have the capacity to turn negative into positive. She believes in utilising an eco-systemic approach, which takes all the environmental factors and individuals that impact a child’s life, it takes a village to raise a child.
