Nestled in the heart of Yzerfontein, Wild Flower Coffee, Clothing & Gifts has been welcoming locals and visitors since November 2013. For owner Nadia Taljaard, the journey began when she was offered the chance to manage a coffee shop. A few months later, she took a leap of faith and took over the business herself — a decision rooted in her lifelong independence and early love for business. Though she once dreamed of joining the Police force, her path led her to entrepreneurship, and today she says she is grateful she trusted herself enough to follow that dream.
For Nadia, Yzerfontein has always been home — a place of healing, peace, and natural beauty on the West Coast. It was only natural to create a space here where people could gather, connect, and enjoy something special. At Wild Flower, there truly is something for everyone: from a perfectly brewed Deluxe coffee (a brand owned by a fellow local) to salted caramel cheesecake, pies, breakfast buns and the famous 100% raw juices, smoothies and Amarula Latte. Customers love browsing carefully sourced gifts, thrift clothing, and sought-after brands like Julz shoes, or enjoying platters for events, high teas, baby showers, and weekend getaways.

Local suppliers, artisans, and home-baked goods are celebrated here, and the shop regularly supports charities close to Nadia’s heart. Open 363 days a year, Wild Flower has grown steadily since its early days in Buitekant Square, evolving to include shoes, clothing, and even free WiFi for digital nomads.
